ELEMENT: Subcontractor Hazard Correction

Stage I

• Establish a requirement that subcontractors promptly correct hazards involving their work activities.

• Formalize and begin implementing methods to ensure that hazards are identified, corrected, & tracked in subcontractors work areas including assignment of responsibility.

• Ensure subcontractors effectively implement systems to identify and correct hazards in their work areas and include responsibility for hazard correction in writing.
